It’s Anime Convention season! And as a warm up to heading back to Melbourne for Manifest in August, I’d thought I’d go check out the Sydney event SMASH! at the Sydney Convention Centre this past Saturday. My Mum was up last week visiting for my birthday (29 by the way) and was up at 5AM, so I figured I’d get up at the same time and catch the Train for some breakfast on Darling Harbor, a place I hadn’t been since I moved to New South Wales (even though I go to Sydney a lot.) Hello everyone….
Hello everyone, my name’s Simon Valentine. I guess I would like to be known as more of a radio/comedy personality, perhaps thats why I’m trying wordpress. Give myself a bit of sizzle.
I live in Bendigo, Victoria, which is just under 2 hours drive from Melbourne. I do a few shows on 96.5 Radio KLFM, a community radio station (don’t groan. We all gotta start somwhere. And KLFM actually sounds more pro than some other community stations around town.) One show is more music based, where I’ll play either Hard rock/Metal or J-Pop/J-Rock, depending on my mood on the night. (A bit extreme, huh?)
The other show I’m working at getting back to the comedy/variety feel. I’ve done quite a few radio sketches over the last few years, and I’m looking forward to doing many more.
